Dear 3DExperience Team,

I have successfully installed the software and started to use it. Thank you very much for approving the application and allowing me the opportunity to use this software package for my start up! I just have one question about Global variables as I have noticed there is one important feature missing. 

I am using the 3DExperience Solidworks Connected 2022 SP04 and I want to have an equations .txt file which contains dimensions in it that I will use across many different parts. I wanted to use the "Link to external file" in the equations tool to do this (this is shown for Solidworks 2023 here https://help.solidworks.com/2023/english/SolidWorks/sldworks/t_exporting_and_linking_equations.htm?verRedirect=1). However, in this Solidworks version - it does not seem to have the option to "Link to External files" and is missing as per the attached screenshot.

I could not find this in the Tools -> Options or anywhere. Is this feature not inclucded in Solidworks Connected? I have updated it to the latest version.

Is there anyway to create global variables in Solidworks Connected that can be linked across multiple parts and automatically updated from a single file?
