I build a square model, 10mm, and mesh size is 10 with S4R element,too. I set CTE 1e-4, and I give the model a temperature load and generate the load vector, usually, the shell model can only expand in X-Y plane, so, the freedom 1 and 2 will suffer the force, and the freedom 4 5,which is moment should be zero in theory. But the load vector from ABAQUS has the moment load(freedom 4 5), which is far smaller the force(freedom 1 2).the force (freedom 1) is about 1.196428571428572e+01 from ABAQUS, the moment (freedom 4) is about 6.938893903907228e-17 . Where is the moment in the S4R model under the termperature load from?
