I am currently developing a FE model of the cervical spine, including IVD and soft tissues. I have assigned hyper elastic material properties to the IVD and soft tissues. However, when I attempt to run the model, I encounter excessive distortion of the elements.

I believe the excessive distortion is due to the hyper elastic material properties. To address this issue, I am looking to improve the mesh quality of my model to ensure convergence. Can anyone provide guidance on how to enhance the mesh quality assign with hyperelastic material properties and achieve better convergence for my FE model?
