I am doing analysis of dynamic impact at university.

I found that in dynamic explicit analysis abaqus has not the proper Bolt load option that is available in the implicit analysis.

So I tried different method, like applying a temperature variation or adding a concetrated force but none of these work properly.

Which is the best way to add a preload to a Bolt in dynamic explicit?
