I faced a similar challange to question bellow:

Our Customer is using 3DEXperience CATIA on Cloud and want to transfer position number of drawing to assembly information and later to ERP.
The User prefer to define the position number per assembly in XEN. This position number have to be displayed in drawing bom and balloning in views as well as, it must be transfered to ERP.
Due to the fact that position number is only instance relevant, not a reference information, I'm looking for a practicable solution on cloud.
The origin property "ItemNumber" in drawing bom and ballons are not listed for XEN attributes.
As workaround for ERP transfer, instance title or instance description could be used, but this attributes are unavaliable in drawing bom definition.

UPDATE:
The position number is generated in ERP. It means, a solution to define this position number (by user or transfer) is necessary, not an automated numbering inside 3DX.
