I was also reviewing the latest what's new in FD03 and came across this new rule to make EIN mandatory for promotion. 

And this leads to the question how to setup  and use this new attribute.
How is this attribute used? should this attribute become available for assemblies and drawings as well? 

in my understanding an assembly and subassembly can not be manufactured.
a drawing , too... a drawing can not be manufactured but the physical product can. (an EIN can not be applied to a drawing - so this makes sense there)

What would you recommend?

I've build up a property Tab to take advantage of this new setting but am struggling with the definition.
