When I try to run Draftsight,  I can't get past the splash screen and I get the following error:

 "?DraftSight.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience."

 Both machines I've tried this on are running XP pro SP3 and using ATI graphics hardware. Could it be linked to a particular graphics card driver? Any ideas on the cause?

ATI Radeon HD 2600 XT (512MB RAM)

320GB HD with 50% Free space
