After logging in you are confronted with a totally unfamiliar page – The DS Communities Home page. “What do I do now” was my first reaction – and I struggled for a day or so.
Four buttons at the top of the page allow access to various lists but don't give you the opportunity for input. Go to a Community page for that. The Communities list is on the left of this page under the heading My Communities.
Here's some guidance on finding the items I needed most when I first came here:
Finding Help
https://swym.3ds.com/#supportcenter
Go to the bottom of the page and in a light grey banner-strip look for Find Help under the heading Other. This banner-strip appears somewhere on many pages of the site.
This DS Support page that comes up has a series of links to various parts of the site that may help a newcomer and even some not-so-new members. It includes too Options to ask an IQuestion – your entry point to the main question and answer formum – and to post a problem report if you have some difficulty with the program.
There is also a Need Help? button at the top of the DraftSight Home page that takes you to the same place.
Getting Directly to the DraftSite Community Home page

Getting to your Profile

Click on your name at the top of most pages for options associated with your personal membership.
Posting a Question
Go to the DS Communities Home page; Click on IQuestions at the top of the page; Select the Ask an IQuestion button near the top RH corner of the page; Fill in the necessary information and select Publish when done.
Viewing Questions and Answers
Go to the DS Communities Home page; Click on IQuestions at the top of the page; Enter a keyword (or words) in the search box and you get a selection based on the key you have used. Otherwise you can simply scroll through the multi-page lists on the page.
When you see a heading of interest click on it for the full listing related to that item.Note that initially comments on any answers that have been given are hidden from view. The number of comments that have been made is noted at the left end of grey line under each answer.
Select the down arrow alongside that indicator to view any comments that have been made.
Answering, and Commenting Questions and Answers
To provide an answer to a question use the Answer button at the bottom right of the question. To make a comment about an answer to a question use the Comment the answer button in a similar position on each answer.
VALIDATING your own questions
When answers have satisfactorily resolved your question, select the tick alongside the Answer button. This will cause the words Answer Validated followed by a green tick to appear underneath your question. Validating your answer is useful to other community members as it shows the status of your question and allows question searches to be carried out and filtered on the basis of validated and non-validated questions.
