I am trying to change the mechanism of a Robot in virtual commisioning for a larger project. However, when i change the mechanism i need to update both the associated behavior under the robot resource and the manufacturing cell resource. My issue is that i might have created some task under the manufacturing cell behavior which i want to carry over. The only solution i have found is to delete both behaviors and recreate all tasks.
How do carry over the task, which could be very complex and not easily recreateable?.
I have made an example below: A robot was built with a cylindrical mechanism and a small program was created. Now, the cylindrical robots mechanism is then changed into just a revolute mechanism. When now opening the resource simulation signals it is empty. I have found this is due to the two behaviors not being updated. I updated the behavior under the robot as it is easily changed. For the corresponding behavior under the manufacturing cell I have tried using "controller synchronization" to update it, but without succes. The example is attached at this current state.
