I tried to integrate process planning to robot simulation. I have created the necessary operations in the process planning application (such as pick_object_a, place_object_a, pick_object_b, place_object_b etc.). Then process flow is created between the different operations, Using "Assignment Manager" the respective resources and objects are mapped for each operations. In the "Assign/Unassign" column of the resource assignment, I mapped the operations to their respective robot tasks (like pick_object_a -> robot_task_pick_a, place_object_b -> robot_task_place_b etc) . Since I have created the process flow in Process planning application, I didnt create any sequencing task in robot simulation. I tried to perform the robot simulation with process planning information, but this isnt happening. I tried in different applications such as Equipment simulation, Factory flow simulation but it is not correctly simulating. In equipment simulation, I could see that the simulation is improper (no sequence flow in process sequence and robot tasks arent properly executed) without any useful execution.
