How to "re-route" a trajectory tag to point to a spot welding tag ?

Hello good members of this community,

My organiation is faced with a question which I would like to reach out to you.

We are transferring simulation data in the form of Robot Tasks from Delmia V5 to the new 3DExperience platform using the 3DExperience XML translator. The robot task is exported from Delmia V5 as an XML file which is then imported to 3DExperience with a XML translator. We ofcourse understand that there are limitations to what kind of information can be transferred over from the legacy system.
My question is as follows:

From Delmia V5 side, we have exported a robot spot welding task as an xml file and it appears in 3DExperience as a Task with a trajectory tag group. This trajectory tag group contains both the spot welding tags and via-points as ordinary tags - no separate spot trajectory group is created.

We create the spot welds in the form of a spot trajectory tag group as shown: This is by exporting the trajectory group as en excel, removing the via-points and importing again as a spot trajectory

What we would like to know, is there an automatic way where we could "re-route" the RobotMotion in the robot task that is pointing to the ordinary tag to instead point to the spot weld tag in the newly created Spot welding trajectory group ?

so to go from here:

To here:

We have so far not found any automatic way unfortunately, we have to manually create spot welding operations in the teach window by inserting a Spot Operation and then pointing to the Spot Trajectory Tag

And then deleting the prior RobotMotion.

Any assistance with this would be much appreciated.

With kind regards,
Omar
