I have two machines. I only want the second machine to turn on, if the first machine cannot handle the demand, in a given amount of time. Is this possible? If so, would you please help me understand how to achieve this?
Example: Scheduling demand is 2000 units per week. If machine 1 can only produce 1800 units, I want machine 2 to turn on and produce 200 units. The units will vary per week and per day.
Ultimately, I want to see how long machine 2 has to run, to meet the scheduling demand.
Also, I have not been successful trying to use Kanban to achieve this. I am hoping there is another way.
I am a very new user to the software, so any help and specifics would greatly be appreciated.
