Tried to search but could not find anything on this topic:

Is there any way to disable the need for Revising a Manufacturing Assembly in the MBOM due to Revisioning in the EBOM?

Once an EBOM item is Revised all children get new instance information which causes an update/revise need on Manufacturing Assemblies that are not affected by the actual change.

Working 100% context (non-configured) and applying a Release/Revise process now requires a 1:1 structural relationship between EBOM and MBOM in order to work. This is not a desired situation, hence the question:

Is there some way to disable this behaviour so that Structural freedom can be achieved?
