Is there a way to only display the MBOM structure in 3DOperations Viewer when it is linked to Manufacturing Items Management app?

My understanding is, that it always displays scoped product model. So even if user makes changes (for example detach some of the parts), these changes don’t display in 3D view.

When you open 3DOperations Viewer separately (without link), it will display just the MBOM structure as it was created.

I think this is how it should be always displayed ince that is the point of the 3D View. Manufacturing Engineer should be able to see what he or she is creating (not the EBOM model).

Opening it in a separate window can be a solution. However without the link it isn’t very user-friendly. It doesnt react to selected parts and channges only become visible after index and refresh.

Is there some setting that can chage this? Or is there some reason for this behaviour, that I’m missing?
