Hi,

I´ve been working with configuration and Manufacturing Plans and I’m trying to understand how to Freeze/Release the instances of configured structures.

Currently I have access to two different versions of 3DX.

2025x on cloud.

2024x on Prem.

My understanding was that the process of Freezing/Releasing a Manufacturing Plan was to lock the instance and its instance-information that has that effectivity set.

This works as expected on 2025x Cloud but not on 2024x on Prem. 

On 2024x on Prem instance information is changeable when the Manufactured Plan is Frozen/Released. How can I be sure that the instance information does not change if it’s not locked by the status of the Manufacturing Plan.

I believe I have seen the behavior seen in 2025x Cloud on previous versions of both cloud and on Prem but I´m not sure.

So, my questions are: Is be behavior seen on 2025x On Cloud, a functionality that is “Cloud Only” or is it new for all installations of 2025x?

If not, is there a setting that controls the behavior?
