Is there a way to automatically align a Resource's Center Frame (TCP) to a Product's Part Origin when creating a Track under a Loading Operation? (Version: 3DEXPERIENCE 2024x HF5)

Hello community,

I am currently working with DELMIA 3DEXPERIENCE 2024x Hotfix 5, and I am looking for a way to improve the efficiency of our process validation using the Assembly Evaluation application.

[Our Current Setup & Context]

  • Operation: A Loading Operation is being used.
  • Assigned Items: One Manufacturing Item (Product) and one Tool Equipment (Resource) are assigned to this operation.
  • Goal: We want to create a Track data under this Loading Operation to evaluate tool accessibility and workability.

[The Problem] Currently, when I click the function to create a Track within the operation, the resource (Tool Equipment) remains static at its initial position. I then have to manually move and align the resource's coordinate system to the product's coordinate system every single time.

[What we want to achieve] To make checking tool workability much more efficient, we want to automate this initial alignment. Is it possible—either through standard settings, specific commands, or EKL (Enterprise Knowledge Language) automation—to automatically snap/align the Resource's Center Frame (Tool Mount or TCP) directly to the Product's Part Origin at the moment the Track is initialized? (Also, I tried using resource position but, it takes too many time in my case)

If anyone has experienced this issue or has a workaround (such as a script or a hidden setting in 2024x), your insights would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you in advance for your help!

Best regards,
