When creating the MBOM we have the preference to search the database for existing items that have been previously scoped to an engineering object. This option makes the most sense for re-use optimization. I have a situation where many items exist from previous tests, but I would like them to be ignored going forward. One solution is to move them all to a separate collab space that no one else can see, but I would like to investigate using a Business Rule that will only search for items in a specific space. Can anyone advise which rule would be responsible and if this type of code is even possible?
