I’ve discovered, that it is necessary to Publish work instructions with the PWD role to make the 3D build up visible in the 3DWorkbook app.

My question is:

Is it possible to make the 3D buildup available without the need to manually publish using PWD role?

Is there a way to setup publish on workplans automatically even without the PWD role?

Not all workplans require detailed work instructions and 3D buildup would be sufficient for the worker.
