I don’t really undestand the new functionality on the Manufacturing Items Management widget regarding quantity on discrete items.

I thought I’d be able to manage the number of instances with it doesn’t seem to be the case since the quantity values is associated with the specific instance of the Mfg Item and doesn’t actually raise or decrease the total number of instances.

In that case, I don’t really understand what this function is good for other than being able to split the items with non-integer values.

Is there a way to manage the instance quantities the same way as with the Product Release widget on the EBOM? It seems very impractical to add or remove instances one by one in case I need to change the number of instances of an item.

Any ideas?
