What is the best way of work when adding a subassembly from another workbook?

When I use the product flow between operations this can easily been done. But in the Work Instructions app I have a lot of work when I what to move the subassembly (for creating views) because I have to move all part within the subassy.

I could also import the subassy separately. In this case the subassy will be treated as 1 part. This makes it a lot easier to manipulate the subassy in Work Instructions app for creating views. But this makes the Process Planning a lot less clear.  

Can someone advise me here with some pro's an cons?
