Dear All, i have been working in xGenerative Design lately(web version). It opens up enormous opportunities and cant wait to discover more but have been struggling in particular area - publishing elements to be accessed once in CATIA.  

Normally the geometry i want to access i would link to a "publish" node and it all seems fine in the /design sequence/specification tree/ but here is where the confusion starts apart form the spec tree there is the /Published Geometry/ branch under the tree - which adds randomly geometry i publish but naming is not followed and i do not have any access to rename or select these entries in xGen.

Then once we go in CATIA - things flip somehow. I can select and use the elements form the /Published Geometry/ branch but not the ones in the /Specification tree/ above. Why is that?

I just do not understand the logic here an hope i am explaining the case well enough. Attached are some screen shtos and a short video.

Then all the parameters under / parameters/  section that drive the model seem to be working just fine but i would need some advice as to what is the best way to access data under the other CATIA applications?
