I was looking around and saw how custom diagram distribution works.

However, neither of the examples I saw work for what I need.

How do you make these unique custom diagrams and incorporate them into the model so users on teamwork cloud for instance have direct access to it. There has to be an option as a profile to store them in the model and then use them without copy and pasting it everywhere.

Is that the solution? You create a custom diagram as a one off, then build a customization for it to reference and then import this as a profile?
