I need a property Type that has the OpenAPI com.nomagic.magicdraw.properties.ChoiceProperty functionaility. That is, I need a Type (or datatype) I can Type a property with whose user interface combines the String and Enumeration functionality in one Type: pick a value from dropdown list or type-in a value.
I have been trying to create a custom property editor, but everything I find on the net uses a hallucinated API. The OpenAPI User Guide says this is possible but does not provide enough information to actually create and install one (com.nomagic.magicdraw.properties.PropertyEditor.createEditor()).
I have looked through many of @MG excellent OpenAPI examples, but only see a LanguageBodyEditor by @ML .
If ChoiceProperty is not available, I would like to override the String Editor to create this blended ui, linking it with an appropriate Enumeration from a mangling of the typed property name: MyComboValue: String, MyComboValueEnum: Enumeration. I already have a skeleton java-based plugin ready for this functionality.
Any ideas Wizards?
