Hi All, 

I am currently looking experimenting with the Join Data from File component to add data from a excel spreadsheet. I have noticed that there is a parameter called 'UseIndexFile' which allows Pipeline Pilot to create an index file which speeds up the join. I find does have quite a big performance improvement in my case (2.5 s to 0.6 sec).

I have selected the 'In System Directory' option which the help text says will put the index file in the \\\$(ScitegicRoot)\\JoinIndices folder. However after selecting this option and running the protocol once I cannot find this index file, there is no JoinIndices folder in the public directory on the PP server.  Does anyone know where I can find this index file?

The reason I would like to find this index file is that I would like to know if I write the index to the public folder for all users how long will this index persist and will this index be automatically updated if the excel file is changed.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
