Hi all,
The RSS Feeds feature was added to the Reporting Collection several years ago, and allows users to output the results of protocols as an RSS feed. You can access the RSS feed for a given AEP (Pipeline Pilot) server from the server home page, and also add the feed to an RSS aggregator.
You don't hear so much buzz about RSS these days, with all the various social networking tools available. So we're curious to know if you guys are using the RSS capability. Please take a moment to answer the following questions. You can reply to the forum, or directly to me if you'd prefer. Even if you only have time to answer "yes" or "no" to the first question, please do so, so we can gauge how valuable this feature is.
1. Do you and/or your colleagues use the RSS feature in AEP/Pipeline Pilot?
2. What do you use it for? Please briefly describe some examples
3. Are there limitations to the current implementation that you have encountered?
4. Do you have any ideas for alternate technologies/capabilities that could meet the same need as you use (or could use) RSS feeds for?
Thanks,
Andrew
