I am looking for resources and guidance around high-performance pipeline pilot implementations. We are considering a grid implementation, but our current version (9.5) only officially supports Oracle Grid Engine, which has been taken over by Univa; IBM Platform LSF, which has been replaced by Spectrum LSF, and Altair PBS Professional. Are these the only options, and will more recent versions work? 

We are also considering an eventual AWS implementation, with the goal of having resources dynamically provisioned based on need, but I have not found much information about how to go about that. 

Does anyone have any recent experience with Grids or cloud/AWS implementations?
