Accelrys is pleased to announce the release of Pipeline Pilot 7.5. This release contains a large number of new features as well as the new Analytical Instrumentation collection. For further details about what is available in this release, see the Pipeline Pilot 7.5 Release Notes (relnotes_7.5.pdf) in the top-level folder of the distribution. Current license holders will receive a separate notice with download information from our electronic download center.
Before installing, review the instructions in the Pipeline Pilot Enterprise Server Installation Guide (scitegic_server_install.pdf). You can use your Pipeline Pilot 7.0 or 6.1.5 license file with the installation (but not any previous licenses). New customers will receive a new license file shortly.
Please note that this version does not work with any Pipeline Pilot 5.x or 6.x clients. We also recommend that you upgrade any Pipeline Pilot 7.0 clients that might be in use. By default, these clients will not be able to connect to a Pipeline Pilot 7.5 server. Administrators can remove that restriction but this will result in loss of functionality. For details, see the release notes.
If you have any questions regarding software licensing, or if you require assistance, please contact your local Accelrys Scientific and Technical Support group. Refer to our web site at http://accelrys.com/services/support.html for contact information.
Best wishes,
Michael Perry
