Hello,

i reinstalled PP server with a new scitegicadmin user ID on one server. After this i got no access via local login.

The error message is:

Unable to login to server xx as user: yy

Authetication failed: Authentication failed: PAM authentication for user yy: Authentication failure.

It is a RHEL 6.4 and PPserver 9.1

Unfortunately, the scitegicadmin user had a ID which collided with an other service.

I decided to stop the server. I deleted the scitegicadmin user with the old ID, after this I changed the path permission to the new userID and started the ppserver. Everything runs fine.

But If i want to login I get the shown error.

In a next step I reinstalled the PPserver with the sciinstall script and the scirootinstall. But login failed again.

I think that I have to register the new scitegicadmin user for PAM. Does anyone know how?
