I'm querying an AEI database to pull structure information for a plate. Some compounds have been removed from the database but still exist in older plates which are sometimes screened. Obviously a database query with the well and plate reference fails to produce a compound ID and a structure. In plate views that report numerical data, the cell is just left blank, but in the structure view the entire row is missing (eg, if chemistry data for compound B01 is missing, all of row B will not be shown).
Is there a way to add a place holder so that the order of wells is maintained in the structure view?
