We have a few questions on policies for configuring browsers for different languages and locales. We are particularly interested in responses from non-English speaking users:

• Do your users configure supported languages in their browsers (e.g. in IE in Internet Options/General/Languages)?
  
• Do they specify one language or a cascade rather?
  
• What languages do your users configure?
  
• Is this controlled by IT or by the user?
  
• How important is it for browser applications that dates are represented in local formats, e.g. 3.28.2012 (1-low, 5-high, or NA)?
  
• How important is it for browser applications that for numbers the decimal and thousands separators obey local formats, e.g. 6,000,000.00 (1-low, 5-high, or NA)?
