I am trying to connect to a remote PP server using the Javascript SDK without success. I use the Example 2 provided in the Help for Developers under Client-Side Integration > Javascript Client SDK > Javascript Client Example Application. There I give my server address with the user credentials and I get the following error:
A problem occurred while initializing the Pipeline Pilot Server object: Server initialization failed. Java Proxy Applet could not be initialized - is https://vm3decdv01.discngine.net:9943 a Pipeline Pilot server (8.0 or later) and do you have the Java browser plug-in installed?
I am using Chrome Version 60.0.3112.90. The PP Server is 2017R2. I tested with different servers with the same outcome. Has anybody encountered and/or solved this issue? I'd appreciate any help!
