Please use the following basic rules to add protocols or components to the Pipeline Pilot community and designate them as contributions to the Pipeline Pilot Library, or to download and use a protocol or component:
Uploading Protocols
- Provide all the files needed in a single compressed file which is less than 2 MB in size.
- In addition to your protocol, please include any files that are required to run the protocol for the first time.
- Include a readme.txt file to explain installation procedures and any dependencies. A template is attached to this post (readme.txt).
- Ensure that your protocol is well commented and documented so that other users can understand it. Documenting a protocol is possible in three different ways: the Help pane, sticky notes and individual component captions.
- Post each protocol in a new discussion post.
- Tag your contributions appropriately using key words.
- Tags must include "pipeline_pilot" and "library". Both tags are required for contributions to be recognized as additions to the Pipeline Pilot Library.
Downloading and Using Protocols
- Download and unzip the files, then drag the included protocol file into the Pipeline Pilot client workspace.
- If you have any comments on the protocol, or questions, please reply to the original post containing the protocol.
- Any scripts that you download from this site are not supported by Accelrys. If you have any questions, please use the forums.
