Just wondering if anyone had tried generate an SSL certificate request (following instructions posted by Lynn Miller on https://community.accelrys.com/docs/DOC-3792) and had run into this problem:

When I get to step 2c) to generate the CSR, I get the following error:

You are about to be asked to enter information that will be incorporated into your certificate request.

What you are about to enter is what is called a Distinguished Name or a DN.

There are quite a few fields but you can leave some blank

For some fields there will be a default value,

If you enter '.', the field will be left blank.

problems making Certificate Request

Should I maybe copy the openssl.conf file attached to the post to the Linux server?
