So, I am trying to be able to deal with people who like to request an sd file after manually drawing a bunch of compounds into a single chemdraw file in addition to putting in properties near or around the structure. While the chemdraw reader to sdf writer does indeed work (albeit it inserts the text as a caption for the image), I would like to be able to extract that text from around the structure image and put it into a new property. Any ideas on how I would go about doing that? Including a simple chemdraw file as an example.
