I have a minor doubt on using the component repository query in NGS collection:

The output type in this component if set to consensus, asks for a mapping experiment. what does the consensus signify

1. Does it signify the consensus of the reads obtained in a mapping experiment

2. If i want to find the features of this consensus, then i need to compare it with ref sequence of the genome, hence i connected this for the features for region component and selected genes. i got a list of genes. does it mean that the consensus sequence obtained from reads was compared with the reference sequence and similar genes are shown as result.

3. if my answer for question 2 is correct, how do i extract the gene sequences or the protein sequences for my further analysis
