Hi,
I am using PP to read datetimes from an Excel 2000 file. The datetimes precision is up to the second but they are displayed (by default) in Excel in a 'dd/mm/yyyy hh:mm' format. And that's what the Excel reader component reads: the seconds are absent from the read datetime property. No need to say I need PP to read my datetimes read up to the seconds.
If I change in the Excel file the datetime format to 'dd/mm/yyyy hh:mm:ss' and save it that way, the Excel reader reads it correctly. But this Excel file is automatically generated by an instrument and is not meant to be opened or manipulated by anything else than PipelinePilot.
So before I start writing VB to automatically modify the datetime format of my Excel file, would anyone have a PP based solution?
Thank you
NB: the two Excel Readers (from Client or cross platform) shows roughly the same type of result.
