Hello everybody,
during the past years the activity of publishing components and protocols on the Pipeline Pilot forum pages heavily increased. In the meanwhile there are 5 long pages filled with interesting stuff. However, things get more and more intransparent as the list of contributions is growing longer and longer.
Those who still experienced the old SciTegic forum might agree with me that in former times it was much easier to find components of interest in the forum as this old page was at least roughly categorized. Therefore I would like to raise a discussion here if the existing components forum is still appropriately organized.
My personal feeling is that there is a need for a more straightforward access to the diversity of contributions instead of the existing simple, unsorted, paged list. An option could be a hierarchy following the hierarchy on the Pipeline Pilot components tab.
What do my colleagues think about this? Do you see this need as well or is this some sort of oversensitive? Do you have alternative proposals for organizing the contributions?
