Hello,
I've an application that I'd like to run outside of the webport (using the 'http://
I've a nice page layout where protocols are running using javascript and updating Dynamic containers.
However for one particular protocol I need the results to open in a fresh window, ideally from a javascript trigger (ie without recourse to a submit button/input form set up or use of the Protocol Funtion component, which as far as I'm aware can only be used in conjunction with dynamic content containers - is this correct?).
By firing off a Protocol Function component I'm restricted to the resulting report appearing on the current page.
So is there any way to get protocols running from javascript to output reports in a fresh web page (within or without the webport)?
On another note - is there any way to influence browser choice not directly running protocols from the client. It seems to me that what is produced will by default display in the browser from which the command was triggered. Using the regular or Leo's Firefox HTML report viewer in the protocol makes no difference.
Thanks for any suggesstions - see y'all at the EUGM
