We've recently upgraded to PP2019 and noticed that the BIOVIA Plug-in will stop working in February 2020 (due to certificate expiry) and we must migration to BIOVIA Desktop Connector by then.

Presumably this will affect all BIOVIA Plugin deployments, not just PP2019?

A few questions about Connector:

Q1: would it be possible to extend the life of BIOVIA Plug-In by installing a new certificate, either via a hotfix from BIOVIA or a technical note on how to install our own certificate?

Q2: the messaging service runs on a Windows Server but we use Linux (RHEL) servers. Can the service be run on Linux (preferably alongside PP and Hub)? 

If not, are there plans to provide a Linux version of the service?

Q3: we run multiple PP environments. Can a single messaging service support multiple PP servers?

Q4: are changes required to the (HTML/JS) of any clients that use sketcher integration or does the same client-code work with both Desktop Connector and the (legacy) Plug-In?
