Please help me!

i am going to calculate the energy(adhesion energy) needed to separat a sheet of clay from a bulk of polymer.i have built the system and calculate the interacrion energy. Now i want to seperate the clay sheet from polymer. i do not khow how i can do that. May i ask you if any body have any idea about this.
