Recently, I was trying to simulation friction process using confined shear task in Forcite module. The system I use contains two iron walls on both the top side and the bottom side, and an epoxy network in the middle part. The result of visualization looks okay, but the stresses of the two walls don't look good. Please see the attached screenshots. They are the system before shear, after shear, and the output stresses for the two walls. Can anyone figure out what's going on here? Thank you very much!
