i am new to material studio, and am working on an undergraduate project.
it is required for me to simulate a pore that is contained within a polystyrene membrane.
in order to simplify the pore structure and i have resorted to approximating a pore with two flat molecular surfaces of polystyrene parallel to each other. for this claim to be legitimate we need the two surfaces contained within a unit cell. this is required to imitate the repetitive property of the pore.
i am able to create two parallel surfaces but unable to contain it within a unit cell.
i must emphasize that my knowledge of material studio is rudimentary at max.
a little help will be appreciated.
cheers.
