Hello everyone

is it possible to create a polymer surface which is 2-4mm thick? i as unit conversion 2mm is equivalent 1e+7 angstrom, if i use these dimensions to create the surface than it becomes a huge surface.

if we create such polymer surface then can we perform MD simulation on it?

My objective is to determine the effect of thickness of polymer sample on gas diffusion. in experiment we took 2-4mm thick polymer sample. now to compare experimental and simulation data, i want to perform MD simulation to calculate diffusivity coefficient. 

calculation procedure i know, but don't know how should i encounter the problem of polymer thickness.
