Hi, I want to build a polyionic liquid polymer chain in Materials Studio. I have drawn the ionic liquid small molecule structure and finished geometry optimization using COMPASS III. However, after building the polymer chain, all counterions are missing. I am thinking of adding equal equivalence of counterions to the built polymer chain but not sure if this is correct. I would be very grateful if anyone could share experience with me. Thank you!
