How to add pressure or force while not deforming the material

Hello everyone,

I want to add an external force or pressure to a group of atoms. I tried the "ExternalForceZ" in Perl script. It could add external force to the atoms, but it will also deform the shape of that group of atoms. I see that some papers applied pressure to the surface. I don't know whether they used "ExternalForce" as well. However, they can keep the shape of the materials during the whole process. One of the examples can be seen in the attachment. The figure shows an indentation process. Based on the paper, they just added a pressure with 0.1 GPa to the surface of PI material from the top Fe nanorod. I wonder how to realize this in Materials Studio. Can anyone help me with this question? Thank you very much!
