I'm new to Materials Studio, so I'll probably be asking a few ":stupid" questions.

My first one is: how do I set the machine priority of MatServer.exe to LOW on my local machine ?

Reason for asking: our tasked server is very busy, and sometimes it is quicker to run small jobs on my local laptop, rather than be queued for hours. However, I want it to run as a background process, rather than hog the CPU.

I succeeded in setting the priority of MatStudio.exe to Low , but MatServer.exe then runs under the SYSTEM account under normal priority

Any help would be appreciated
