I'm having problems calculating elastic constants using CASTEP.  It's an orthorhombic crystal and I'm using experimental neutron diffraction data to calculate the constants as a function of temperature.  At high temperature eg. 600 C, c66 goes from positive to negative.  Can this be right?  There is no experimental measurement at high T for the crystal I'm working with.  Anyone have any ideas?
