Dear all, 

             I wonder that whether the binding energy between a polymer molecule and the metal surface relating with the surface area of the metal surface?   If  in a case,  I want to investigate the binding energy between the different crystal plane of the metal and the polymer molecule.   It is hard to get the same surface area for all the crystal plane,  how should we to compare the binding energy?
