I want to perform the adsorption of acetone on the nanotube in dmol3.  Should I randomly choose the orientation of the adsorbate as  intial modes of adsorbate?  How many positions should I consider?

I read in an article for the absorption of aniline that placed the molecule exactly parallel, perpendicular or oblique to the position of the adsorbent. I should also do this and how?
