I built a repeat unit for a polymer in Materials Studio, then built the polymer chain using Build | Build Polymers and changed the "Block Size" in the "Block Copolymer" dialogue box according to how many repeat units I want in my polymer. When I exported the coordinates in the *.pdb format, the column for the "residue sequence" of the *.pdb file shows 1 for all the atoms. Is there a way to get Materials Studio to assign the residue sequence number for the atom based on which repeat unit it belongs to? For example, if I have 10 repeat units for my polymer, the numbers in the residue sequence column should range from 1--10 and atoms belonging to the same repeat unit should share the same number.
